Doosan Group Yonkang Foundation (Chairman Y.H. Park) presented certificates of scholarship and souvenirs to the three children of Korea Coast Guard Sergeant Late Lee Cheong-ho at Doosan Tower in Euljiro 6-ga, Jung-gu, Seoul on January 17.

The eldest daughter of the late Lee’s three children is a middle school student and two sons are elementary students. Lee was killed while on duty to crack down on Chinese fishing boats engaged in illegal fishing in Korean waters last December. The foundation will provide scholarship for the children’s tuitions until they graduate from college.

Yonkang Foundation is Doosan’s academic and scholarship foundation that is supporting academic, cultural and scholarship programs since its establishment in 1978.
