Doosan Group Yonkang Foundation (Chairman Y.H. Park) announced on April 13 that it will provide US$ 440,000 in childrearing subsidies this year to support children from low-income families, who are participating in the Elementary Afterschool Care Program in Seoul.

The Elementary Afterschool Care Program is a childrearing assistance program designed to improve the growth, health and academic performance of children from low-income households and families where both parents work. The Foundation will provide childrearing subsidies to 638 children from low-income families who are taking part in the program.

As Doosan’s scholarship and academic foundation, Doosan Group Yonkang Foundation has conducted numerous scholarship, academic assistance, and cultural programs since its inception in 1978.
