Doosan Infracore’s Tier 4 Final DL06 engines and wheel loaders, which Ricardo helped to develop and meet
stringent emissions regulations, were featured in the Q1 2014 issue of RQ , on pages 11-15. The article highlighted Doosan Infracore’s research and development efforts and the response capability of its product support (P/S) in sales, improving the overall image of Doosan’s wheel loaders and excavators.
Taekyu Kim, manager of the Global Product Support Team, and Namil Choi, chief researcher of Aftertreatment Development, have been responsible for the development of the DL06 Tier 4 Final with Ricardo in England for two months, as well as for preparing the Technical Support Agreement (TSA). They said getting the cover story in RQ was a sign of how Doosan’s construction equipment has risen to the highest level in the construction equipment industry. The cover story also was good for promoting the advanced technology of Doosan Infracore’s construction equipment in Europe and North America. Doosan Infracore’s wheel loader featured on the cover of RQ is DL06 Tier4 interim DL200. The model is equipped with an engine that meets the emissions standards of North America and Europe, and the Tier 4 Final engines mounted on the next-generation models are expected to boost fuel efficiency and maneuverability. The cover picture was taken in North America.
