Doosan Infracore has opened a new Parts Distribution Center (PDC) in the Seattle area (Lacey, Washington) of the northwestern United States.
Doosan Infracore announced on April 5 that it had opened a new parts distribution center (PDC) in the Seattle area of the northwestern United States (Lacey, Washington).
A PDC secures parts for heavy equipment such excavators and wheel loaders in a timely manner and supplies them to customers as quickly as possible. It plays a significant role in raising customers’ equipment utilization rates and increasing their satisfaction with the company’s equipment.
As the company’s third PDC in the United States following those in Atlanta and Miami, the Seattle PDC will deal with more than 9,000 parts across a land area of about 5,300 square meters. While the Atlanta PDC is in charge of the East Coast and the Midwest of the United States and the Miami PDC is responsible for supplying parts to Latin America, the Seattle PDC will be supplying parts to the West Coast of the United States and the Canadian market.
An official of Doosan Infracore said, "We will continue striving to boost the satisfaction of our North American customers by steadily improving the efficiency of our PDC operations and our ability to respond to demand for parts.”
To enhance its competitiveness in parts distribution, Doosan Infracore now runs a total of ten PDCs in eight countries around the world, including Korea (Ansan), China, the United States, the United Kingdom, Germany, Singapore, Brazil and Dubai. Overall the PDCs deal with more than 400,000 different parts. We will continually expand our global PDC network with the goal of delivering our parts anywhere in the world within 24 hours.
