Doosan Infracore has launched a ‘Mobile Parts Book’ app that contains information on its construction equipment parts and manuals. Doosan Infracore said it developed the app with a focus on maximum customer convenience, rapid information update, and continuous after-sales follow-up.
On August 20th 2019, Doosan Infracore announced that it had released a ‘Mobile Parts Book’ application containing information on construction equipment parts as well as manuals.
The parts book for construction equipment include its drawings, part numbers, and other related data. Previously, the company provided its customers with an average of 600 pages of printed materials for each construction equipment. Now with all the information included on an app, the company has dramatically increased information accessibility and portability for its customers. The mobile parts book supports eight languages, including English, Spanish, Chinese, and Korean.
Doosan Infracore produced the mobile parts book focusing on three aspects: maximum user convenience, rapid information update, and continuous after-sales follow-up. We have maximized user convenience by simplifying the user interface (UI) as much as possible and enabling our customers to check information on their parts even when other means of communication are not available. (Information update was difficult for printed manuals). Update will be made in real-time for the app. Customers may immediately check the latest information on parts and compatibility, among others.
Doosan Infracore’s managing director of Global AM/PS (Global Parts/Product Support) for construction equipment Taekeun Choi said “We will strive to increase our customer satisfaction by continuously improving convenience of our equipment and functions from the customer's point of view.” He also added, "We are planning to expand the app into an e-commerce platform so that our dealers and customers can use the mobile parts book even more effectively.”
